King of pop dies
Ten minutes after the announcement of Michael Jackson’s death, I walked in my neighborhood in Miami and saw people walking around in disbelief, sad and baffled, looking afflicted. I was not around when Elvis died (if he died) but I think it must have been just like this, people reaching out to others in an inexplicable mood of togetherness, a rare and precious moment, what humanity clearly should always be like.
Man/woman? an artist in all its weirdness, his music will live on.
